EXIN Launches Pilot IT Service Manager Examinations in Japanese

 
 
October 1, 2005 - The Newly Launched Japanese Examination by EXIN Piloted From 1 st October 2005.As a welcome addition to the existing examinations in English, German, Dutch, and Russian, EXIN International has recently developed IT Service Manager examinations in Japanese. The newly launched Japanese examinations have been piloted from 1st Oct 2005.

During the pilot phase, the examinations are extensively tested for their reliability, validity, and workability. Local experts review the examinations to ensure that the translations are correct, and that the globally recognized ITIL concepts are properly used. Experts verify possible cultural differences, and adjust the materials if necessary. Quality standards are maintained as EXIN continues to monitor the results even after the pilot phase.

EXIN has also started a project to train the markers for objective marking in IT Service Manager examinations. To assure the carefulness in the marking procedure, the essay style examinations are always marked by at least 2 ITSM experts. EXIN may even decide to invite a third marker to review the results of the former two in the interest of fair marking process.

EXIN examiners are recruited from well known, outstanding organizations in the Japanese IT industry to guarantee the practical relevance of the Japanese expert level exams. These examiners are selected based on experience and proven record of knowledge and understanding in the field of IT Service Management.
