  Course Introduction -
 
Achieving ISO/IEC 20000 certification is an intensive case study oriented 2 days workshop. The workshop is designed for those involved in the ISO/IEC 20000 Implementation process, and for those who would like to have a better understanding of what the implementation encompasses. Practical examples and real life case studies are used to guide you through the implementation route and prepare for the audit.
   
  Course Description -
 

The training leading to this examination is designed to provide a basic level of knowledge in the ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management standard and its application. It is aimed at practising IT auditors who wish to conduct either internal ISO/IEC 20000 audits or external certification audits for accredited
Registered Certified Bodies (RCBs).

This training does not cover audit techniques or issues surrounding the prepartion of an organisation for audit. The course covers the interpretation and application of the ISO/IEC 20000 standard. The course prepares students to take on the ISO/IEC 20000 certification exam for Auditors and at the exam will be organized at the end of the course.

   
  Audience -
 
Internal and External IT Auditors, Quality Consultants, IT consultants with a strong focus on audit.
   
  Course Prerequisite -
 
Candidate requires to be a certified ISO 9000, BS 7799 or Tickit auditor, or be an IT auditor with a minimum of 3 years work experience.
   
  Learning Objectives -
  At the end of this course, you will be able to:
  • Have an understanding of the elements comprising the ISO/IEC 20000 framework.
  • Understand the roadmap towards ISO/IEC 20000 accreditation.
  • Define the relationships between the different Service Management processes from an audit perspective.
  • Understand what is required for a ISO/IEC 20000 Audit.
  • Understand the role of audit in setting up and continuous audit.
  • Be prepared to take on the ISO/IEC 20000 Auditors exam from the itSMF.
