Available XBRL Courses

After training, take the exam. Earn official XBRL Foundation certification.

Participants who complete the official XBRL Foundation course are eligible to take the official certification exam. It consists of 40 multiple-choice questions that test the candidate’s comprehension of the XBRL Foundation Training Course.  
Candidates can take up to 60 minutes to complete the web-based exam, which is presented in English. The passing grade is 65% -- 26 out of 40 correct answers. Upon passing the exam, candidates will receive the official XBRL Foundation Certificate and be listed on the XII website as certified professionals.

Earning the globally recognized XBRL Foundation Certificate establishes you as a professional who understands the principles and concepts of XBRL as the Electronic Business Reporting Standard. The certificate is solid proof that you successfully completed the official XBRL Foundation training and demonstrated your understanding of the course content.
