Cloud Skills Extends Cloud Credential Council Certifications to Australian Higher Education in New Partnership

Victoria, Australia, February 2 2016 – ITpreneurs partner, Cloud Skills, has announced a new partnership with Victoria based higher education academy BoxHill Institute to deliver Cloud Credential Council (CCC) accredited cloud certification training. These courses will be available as of this month.

According to Forrester, over 86% of businesses in Australia use cloud computing in some capacity, and it is predicted that the Australian market for public cloud services will reach AU$ 2.6bn by 2017. A 2015 Forbes article revealed over 90,000 cloud-related job openings in Australia alone.

Cloud computing offers greater potential, power and flexibility and is changing the way organisations model their business, in turn reshaping the nature of many jobs. This creates a strong platform for career growth in specialised cloud focused jobs.

Cloud Skills chose to offer a range of professional, accredited, vendor-neutral cloud courses to meet this growing demand for professionally certified cloud professionals across Australia. The CCC certification scheme met our requirements and covers a wide range of requisite skills for the changing technology market, said Conor Higgins, CEO of Cloud Skills. ITpreneurs’ support in facilitating the CCC partnership, preparing the instructors and providing course materials, was the silver lining. he added.

Cloud Skills and the BoxHill Institute will offer the CCC courses through the short course
program initially, with plans to expand the offering to other education programs.
