ITpreneurs Announces Partnership with Lean Kanban University

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, June 28, 2016 – ITpreneurs has formed a partnership with Lean Kanban, Inc. to provide a diverse portfolio of the Lean Kanban University (LKU) certified Kanban courses worldwide. ITpreneurs partners that are IT training and consulting organizations can now provide these courses to help their clients to leverage the Kanban Method – the management method proven through successful Kanban implementations to improve service delivery, collaboration, quality, and employee satisfaction.

The following official LKU Courses are now available:

  • Team Kanban Practitioner course covers the basics of the Kanban Method.
  • Kanban System Design course explains how to design a Kanban system (or improve an existing one) and initiate change with Kanban.
  • Kanban Management Professional course focuses on the rollout and daily operation of a Kanban system.

The ITpreneurs course catalog is a showcase of world class IT best practices training. Now trainers and partners in the ITpreneurs global network can more easily connect with Lean Kanban University certified Kanban courses and credentials. We are excited to be featured by ITpreneurs and show a wider audience how to improve with the Kanban Method.

This partnership further strengthens ITpreneurs Lean IT courseware portfolio, focusing specifically on applying the Lean methodology of Kanban with the best-in-the-market curriculum. In addition to the courseware, ITpreneurs will also facilitate Train-the-Trainer services to support trainers to become LKU Accredited Kanban Trainers (AKT). For training providers with an immediate opportunity to offer this training, they can source an Accredited Kanban Trainer via ITpreneurs.

Laurens Gunneweg, Portfolio Acquisition Manager, ITpreneurs

LKU courses are based on the Kanban Method as developed by David J. Anderson for application to knowledge work including IT and software development in his best-selling book “Kanban: Successful Evolutionary Change for Your Technology Business”. The Kanban Method is an approach to incremental, evolutionary process and systems change for organizations. It uses a work-in-progress limited pull system as the core mechanism to expose system operation (or process) problems and stimulate collaboration to continuously improve the system. Visualisation is an important aspect of Kanban as it allows to understand the work and the workflow.
